Sherri Hamilton is a marketing leader, creative director, designer + illustrator in Upstate New York whose work bridges creativity and environmental advocacy. As the founder of EcoBlue Design Co.—a design studio dedicated to sustainability and a healthy planet—Sherri's mission is to create positive impact through design solutions and partnerships with like-minded sustainability partners.
Growing up in a family that valued minimalism, Sherri was raised with a respect for nature and understanding of mindful consumption. Having an earth science teacher as a father meant family vacations and road trips were educational opportunities about the landscape, fossils, weather patterns, constellations, and navigation. And, living in rural Upstate New York meant fun was found in simple things like "running around the house", ice skating through frozen field irrigation ditches, biking with friends, and night-time bonfires. Nature was an extension of Sherri's concept of "home". Traveling to Europe as a teenage exchange student further opened her eyes to a culture that valued conservation and reuse. Today, Sherri is an avid organic gardener and home composter, and enjoys outdoor activities including running, biking, and hiking.
Building on a 20+ year career in corporate advertising and creative content development, Sherri founded EcoBlue Design Co. — an ultra targeted division of her studio work that is focused on sustainability and environmental advocacy.
Continuous education and research in sustainability is integral to EcoBlue Design Co.'s mission and purpose.
